Job Description

As a railway worker in the operational service as a train driver and transporter at ITL, you will operate locomotives for freight and shunting traffic. Before the journey can begin, you will check if all equipment and parts of the train are safe. During the journey, you will stay in contact with the employees of the signal box via radio and coordinate with them. It is important that you follow the route and timetables and always carry the accompanying documents with you. To ensure a smooth process for railway traffic, you will also work at night and on Sundays and public holidays. After your training, you will independently operate your train and take on a lot of responsibility to deliver our customers' goods punctually and sustainably to their destination.
