Your job profile:

  • You support the implementation and establishment of import and export customs control.
  • You are responsible for fulfilling all legal requirements within the scope of customs clearance, including regulatory requirements.
  • You review and update customs tariff numbers in ERP/government systems.
  • You are responsible for setting up, maintaining, conducting, and monitoring preference calculations in the systems.
  • You monitor and verify existing and updated certificates of origin from suppliers.
  • You act as a contact person for questions regarding customs processing and origin issues.
  • You also act as a contact person for service providers and customs agents, ensuring smooth handling of customs matters.

This is what sets you apart:

  • You have completed a commercial apprenticeship with further training in the field of customs and have several years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • You have several years of professional experience in customs and export control, preferably in a trading company.
  • Very good PC application skills in SAP/SAP GTS are desirable.
  • You have fluent German and English skills in spoken and written form.
  • You are characterized by a responsible and structured way of working.
  • You are able to communicate with customs authorities
