    Position Overview

    The Manager of Co-Manufacturing Quality Assurance plays a pivotal role in the Quality & Technical Services department, overseeing the implementation of quality standards across Simple Mills' co-manufacturing network. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality and food safety benchmarks during innovation, production, and ongoing processes. Building strong relationships with on-site quality teams is essential to deliver exceptional quality products to consumers effectively.

    Reporting to the Senior QA Manager, responsibilities include:

    • Leading continuous improvement projects to meet Quality/Food Safety KPIs
    • Identifying and mitigating potential food safety risks
    • Collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure quality compliance
    • Fostering positive relationships with co-manufacturing quality teams
    • Supporting production sites in adhering to quality standards
    • Communicating project roadblocks and risks
    • Executing product quality evaluations
    • Partnering on supplier quality and product development

    Requirements

    • 3 years of quality experience, knowledge of HACCP, PCQI, and FDA regulations
    • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
    • Experience with GFSI scheme and FDA audits
    • Preferred certifications: PCQI, HACCP, SQF practitioner
    • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Effective communication and collaboration skills
    • Prioritizes continuous improvement and detail-oriented
    • Willingness to travel 30 – 50% of the time
    • Passion for natural food and healthy eating
