What You'll Get to Do:
Design, develop, debug, and test of signal processing algorithms running on a variety of platforms supporting intelligence, defense, and other government missions.
Design, develop, integrate, and test software for Machine Learning applications.
Enhancing and maintaining existing X-Midas and M2Extra tools which are used by signal analysts.
Help define the requirements, CONOPs and architecture for future systems.
Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks.
Development of analytic signal processing tools.
You'll Bring These Qualifications:
A background in digital signal processing (DSP) and communication theoryExperience programming in either Python, Java, C++, or any object- oriented or functional languageLinux software development experienceDemonstrated proficiency in communicating technical and analytical information in written productsExposure to all phases of software development lifecycle (concept, design, implementation, test, and production)
Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)10+ years of related experience in relevant engineering disciplines (e.g. Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science)Software Development skills with object-oriented languagesBackground digital signal processing an communication theoryLinux software development experienceThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
Understanding of software defined radio systems:Receiver architecturesSoftware channelizationModulation/demodulation techniquesSpectral analysisExperience with X-Midas in the development of RF transmission and receiver systems or software defined radioExperience processing signals using Matlab, Octave, or another software tool suiteExperience with telemetry systemsKnowledge and experience of processing signals, including:Error correcting codesDigital video formatsKnowledge and experience with target tracking systemsKnowledge and experience performing machine learning techniquesExperience in design, development, or testing of weapons systemsDevelopment of link budgets, range estimates, and system sensitivity assessmentsKnowledge of and experience with Geolocation and Direction FindingKalman filteringPolyphase filtering
