Quanex is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our Night Shift team located in Bowling Green, KY .

Responsibilities : In this role you will maintain manufacturing equipment and the facility to maximize uptime at the least cost to production related goals.

What's attractive about the Maintenance Technician position?

• Pay range is $27-$30.50 based on your applicable maintenance technician experience
• 12% Shift Differential
• Monday – Thursday 7:30 pm to 6:00 am; Overtime as needed
• Team-Oriented Environment

What Success Looks Like:

• Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines and identifies any safety issues.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance.
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, mechanical production equipment and support systems.
• Provides technical assistance to all production personnel as required.
• Ability to contribute effectively to the team.

Your Credentials:

• Strong Mechanical Ability
• Welding and shop experience
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics:
• Electrical systems knowledge and repair
• Tooling and woodworking equipment experience preferred
• Good Communication Skills
