Fleet Manager Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for managing all fleet functions for our Construction, Plumbing, and Restoration divisions.
- Oversee the acquisition, maintenance, repair, and disposal of our fleet vehicles.
- Develop and implement a fleet management strategy that optimizes efficiency and minimizes costs.
- Manage and analyze data related to fuel consumption, vehicle maintenance, and driver behavior.
- Ensure all vehicles are properly registered, licensed, and insured.
- Develop and implement driver safety programs.
- Track and maintain detailed records of all fleet vehicles and equipment.
- Manage a team of drivers and ensure they adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Stay uptodate on industry best practices and trends in fleet management.
To qualify, you should have:
- Minimum 35 years of experience in fleet management or a related field.
- Proven track record of success in reducing fleet operating costs.
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficient in fleet management software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- A commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management.
