    For over half a century, Nature's Way has partnered with farmers, collectors, and suppliers, many with extensive experience, in the development of their goods. The business is a pioneer in transparently disclosing information about the constituents and production methods of its dietary supplements. Nature's Way has surpassed industry production standards for decades and continues to set the benchmark for the sector today.

    SUMMARY

    The Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Director is a vital partner to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance, tasked with overseeing the full S&OP process, merging forward-looking demand, supply, and financial planning insights. The ideal candidate possesses expertise in demand forecasting for swiftly moving consumer goods, with a background in supply chain network optimization and inventory scheduling. This individual will directly supervise the demand forecasting team and be accountable for enhancing and standardizing tools, data sources, and templates across the complete S&OP cycle.

    We are in search of an individual with exceptional facilitation and communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across departments crucial to accomplishing the company's objectives. They should be flexible and cooperative with the capability to assess requirements considering capacity and capability, establish relevant connections across data and analytics, and formulate solutions where challenges persist.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES encompass the following. Additional tasks may be allocated.

    • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive S&OP strategies aligning with organizational targets to improve overall business performance.
    • Sales & Operations Planning: Guide the S&OP process, uniting cross-functional teams to ensure precise and prompt data exchange and decision-making. Conduct regular S&OP sessions to evaluate performance, tackle deviations, and amend plans as needed.
    • Enhanced Reporting: Produce a range of monthly S&OP reports suitable for presenting to senior management, combining themes of demand and supply. Create perceptive reports to evaluate business performance and offer improvement recommendations.
    • Forecasting and Demand Planning: Lead the creation of a consensus forecast and partner with commercial teams to handle inquiries/challenges and focus efforts. Condense insights from various forecasts, highlighting main conclusions and decisions.
    • Supply/Production Planning/Inventory: Collaborate with the Supply Chain Leadership team to bolster tools, capacities, and insights to enhance plan execution and risk management in the supply chain. Detect and assess correlations between demand and supply.
    • Process Enhancements: Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the efficiency of S&OP procedures, making data-informed choices for continuous enhancement. Identify opportunities for leveraging advanced technologies and tools to refine S&OP processes, elevating efficiency and precision.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Capability to consolidate data from varied sources, analyze, and synthesize into actionable insights
    • Effective organizational skills in strategy, communication at all levels, and implementation.
    • Robust leadership capabilities. Ability to guide, contribute, and inspire others in a team-oriented atmosphere
    • Exceptional people and project management skills, with a talent for openly conveying information to team members promptly and succinctly.
    • Demonstrated proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
    • Proficiency, or a proven ability to adapt, with systems like IBP, SAP, Power BI, and data analysis
    • Aptitude to work autonomously, balance multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic setting
    • Mindset for growth and enthusiasm for professional development

    EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or similar field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience are mandatory. MBA or Master's degree is desirable.
