Description
Provide family, individual, and group therapy when indicated.

  • Provide psychological testing and evaluation when relevant.
  • Complete treatment plans for all insurance.
  • Complete assessments, progress notes, discharge summaries and other written documentation as needed.
  • Complete all necessary billing encounters.
  • Act as a treatment and resource person for other therapists in the Behavioral Health unit.
  • Monitor case records to ensure quality and professionalism, in concert with the Department Director.
  • Act as a resource person to other departments when needed.
  • Ongoing needs assessment for staff training purposes and assist in the implementation of inservice training programs in cooperation with the Department Director.
  • Developing and aiding in the implementation of new treatment programs under the supervision of the Department Director.
  • Supervising any interns working in Behavioral Health.
  • Perform afterhours oncall emergency triage.
  • Comply with SSCHC TB Control Plan including PPD testing.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • Doctor of Philosophy in Counseling or Clinical Psychology; eligibility for licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Highly developed ability in the administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological tests, specifically, objective, projective, and cognitive test batteries.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in clinical interviewing.
  • Demonstrated ability in group therapy, group management, individual therapy, and family counseling.
  • Supervisory skills needed to oversee the work of interns.
  • Demonstrated skills in consultation and the ability to work as part of a team.
