    Job Description

    As the Regional Resource Nurse, you will provide direction and quality improvement processes for the health service departments at our communities. You will provide support, guidance, and will serve as a clinical resource to each community. You will be responsible for nurse training and development as well as quality checking programs provided. You will provide assistance with new community transitions and opening and on-going regulatory compliance reviews.

    Responsibilities

    • Company-wide compliance with company policies and state/federal regulatory guidelines.
    • Train and continually review training with community nurse teams on company policies and state regulations.
    • Manage Quality Assurance to identify opportunities to minimize/reduce liability risks.
    • Provide periodic outcome reporting to the Director of Health Services and partners of Stellar Senior Living.
    • Oversee the development/revision and implementation of clinical program manuals and policies. Ensure program content encompasses industry best practices and is implemented effectively.
    • Compliance/accuracy of the resident assessment process, care planning, and documentation.
    • Development and implementation of clinical orientation/continuing education and competency assessment programs to meet current practice standards.
    • Enhance/ revise programs in the AL communities to improve outcomes related fall prevention, medication management and anti-psychotic usage.

    Requirements

    • Active, unrestricted RN license valid in the state of Colorado.
    • At least 3 years of previous experience in a regional nursing role.
    • Two or more years of experience in Senior Living in a health services role involving a combination of hands-on nursing and clinical leadership.
    • RN required; BSN preferred.
    • Ability to travel 40-70% of the time, including a valid driver's license. (5 communities in Denver/Colorado Springs area included in this region)
    • This position must be based out of Denver.
    • CPR/First Aid Certified.
