Work Schedule:


  • Up to 25 hours per week.
  • Mon-Fri; days/times will vary based on office needs.
  • Extra hours are available during peak enrollment periods (Jan and Aug).

Job Summary:


The overall purpose of this position is to provide admissions & registration services to new, continuing & returning students; General student/office services such as issue student picture IDs, set appointments for Advising/Counseling, answer incoming call, assist people via chat, conduct campus tours, assist with verifying enrollment forms, directing people to other services on campus; other duties to assist students and the campus as needed.


Essential Functions:

90% Assist new/continuing/returning students with Admissions and Registration, setting appointments,
making student picture IDs, etc
10% Assist with campus tours, new student orientation on student center/portal, assist full-time staff with
various projects as needed


Desired Qualifications:

Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and using the Internet
Able to navigate Internet, performing searches within Maricopa district and college web pages.


Special Working Conditions:

Some closing/evening hours.
Some weekend hours during peak enrollment (Jan and Aug).
Possible sitting for long periods of time.
Long periods of working on computer monitor.
Some walking around campus to assist with campus tours.
