A Southern LA client is looking for an excellent primary care physician with 10 years of leadership experience to serve as Chief Medical Officer.
This role will involve operating a $100M budget and 22 health centers in an underserved community. There are 100 providers that work for the organization (20 physicians and 80 APPs).Graduated from an accredited medical school with a MD or DO degree
Current CA state medical license
Completed an accredited residency program and board certification in primary care
Bilingual in Spanish/English
Manages the care of patients in collaboration with other health professionals and members of the healthcare team in order to make decisions about treatment and attain health goals.
Ensures that the clinical care provided at clinics is maintained at the highest levels of excellence and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and best practicesEnsures all professional clinical staff are competent and qualified
Completes periodic performance reviews for direct reports and quality reviews
Responsible to ensure adherence to current evidence-based clinical guidelines, standards of care, and standards of practice in the provision of health center services
Works to meet benchmarks and achieve productivity sufficient to maintain qualifications for federal and state funding and grant requirements.
Oversees clinical care delivered at all clinic locations, the behavioral health services and dental departmentRisk management, developing policies and procedures, meetings with senior management
