Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, providing complete 24-hour coverage of the Residence, planning staff schedules that meet program needs.

Train, supervise and evaluate all staff. Follow appropriate procedures relative to the reporting of incidents as per the 624 regulations. Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team.

In addition, the Manager will coordinate aspects of care for assigned residents in order to ensure active treatment is provided on an ongoing basis in the least restrictive environment, in accordance with OPWDD regulations.

$63,882-$67,682/yearly


Responsibilities:

Mon-Fri 9a-5p


DUTIES:
Day-to-day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Schedule DSP's to accompany residents on all appointments and activities.
  • Supervise DSP's implementation and maintenance of training programming.
  • Supervise the purchase and maintaining of residents' personal items, adaptive and habilitation equipment.
  • Maintain and account for each resident's personal allowance ledgers, bankbook, deposits, withdrawals and fiscal records.
  • Participate as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team in the development and evaluation of each resident's ISP.
  • Review the log communication log daily, ensure issues are addressed timely
  • Review, approve and submit time sheets and of program staff.
  • Provide ongoing monitoring and supervision through weekly supervision to provide guidance, troubleshooting and ongoing training to contribute to the professional growth of Staff.
  • Perform other duties as required.
  • Coordinate and conduct Annual and Semi-Annual reviews of participants status/progress including an assessment of risks.
  • Ensure completion and receipt of individual clinical team members' reports/meetings evaluations Prepare annual CFA's and summaries which includes a capabilities needs assessment, priority of needs and a summary of clinical reports, activities schedules and consumer profiles
  • Observe Program Specialist and DSP's conduct goals active treatment with and provide handson training as needed or prescribed consumers by facilities Plan Of Corrective Action (POCA)
  • Provide staff with inservice training ongoing
  • Ensure integration of services between Day Program and the residence and, integration of all services into routine daily activities

Qualifications:

Education Required:

Bachelor's Degree.


License/Certification Required :
Valid NY, NJ, CT, or PA Driver's License with 6 points or less.


Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree from a U.S. accredited educational institution or Credential Evaluation for a non-U.S. educational institution
