Position description
The Department of Radiological Sciences at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA is recruiting for a full-time Professor (all ranks) in the Clinician Scientist track to join our Musculoskeletal Imaging [MSK] Section in a leadership capacity.
A proven track record in performing clinical research, grant funding, and publication record involving musculoskeletal, joint and cartilage tissue using innovative MR imaging and image-guided interventions.
In the Clinical Science track, the successful applicant will be afforded additional time off the clinical schedule and access to our Department Research infrastructure.
This recruitment will be accompanied by a recruitment for an MR Physicist with similar interests in MSK research.
Clinical responsibilities will comprise coverage of all MSK inpatient and outpatient services at all hospitals (4) and outpatient imaging centers (10) in a rapidly expanding academic health system, UCLA Health.
This position encompasses all major diagnostic modalities (US, MRI, MR arthrography, and CT), the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic image-guided procedures, and on-call/weekend coverage.
The candidate will supervise and teach excellent MSK fellows and radiology residents.
