Schedule:
Saturday-Sunday 5am-1pm, Monday-Wednesday 1pm-9pm

Compensation:
$22.50/ hour + Benefits once armed)

Job Summary

We are looking to add an Armed Critical Access Security Officer to our team at our site in Tempe, AZ.

As an Armed Critical Access Security Officer, you will be responsible for safeguarding the facility's property, personnel, and equipment.

Additionally, you will support site safety programs and safety initiatives to ensure the safety and security for all. You will also carry out equipment checks, site patrols, and other audits.

Anderson Security Agency will provide you with a firearm, uniforms, and all the equipment to perform the functions of this role.

Essential Functions

Create a safe and secure environment for employees, visitors, and vendors.
Communicate appropriately with supervisors, peers, client associates, and the general public professionally.
Ensure that the security team meets organizational goals for productivity, performance management, and employee engagement.
Display intermediate/advanced computer skills to utilize the proprietary software onsite.
Conduct thorough foot patrols around the premises to observe anything out of the ordinary.
Provide exceptional customer service while displaying a positive attitude.
Create and maintain a thorough understanding of standard operating procedures, sitespecific post orders and duties, and client safety programs.
Make ethical judgment decisions while carrying out your responsibilities according to company and client policies.
Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all aspects of the job to ensure safety and security for all onsite.
Handle sensitive information and material, in doing so, remain confidential at all times.
Demonstrate the highest levels of integrity in the performance of your duties.
Maintain a flexible schedule and ability to work overtime if and when required or in the event of an emergency.

Minimum Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age, per state standards.
Valid Driver's License
Active Unarmed Guard Card
Armed Security Guard License in Arizona (We can help you get this)
One year of experience in either contract security, military, corrections, or law enforcement experience.
Completion of Anderson Security's Armed Training Program.
CPR, AED, and First Aid certified. (We provide these for FREE)
Must be authorized to work in the United States legally.
Submit a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
Possess the minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent education.
If military experience must be able to provide a copy of DD214, Form 4.
