    Job Functions
    Work with Project Managers and customers in preparation of system quotations and runoff - this includes lead engineering, software development, process development and robot programming
    Technical resource to customers, Design Engineers, and Project Managers
    Provide consulting, lead engineering of new designs for customers and Genesis products
    Use PLC and various other controls programming for standard products and custom equipment
    Debugging operation of the workcell and establish a fully functional and safe machine
    Educate Engineering staff on the standard product software and system operation
    Evaluate, select and develop new applications for emerging technologies (maintaining Genesis' unique value proposition to the automation market)
    Communicate with customers, both internal and external, to thoroughly understand their needs and to clearly communicate the proposed solution
    Document and organize procedures and interfacing of process equipment
    Responsible for system startups at customer facility
    Establish the maximum performance of the system
    Requirements

    AS in Engineering required (BS in Engineering preferred)
    One year of relevant work experience
    Honest, trustworthy team player with good interpersonal skills
    Ability to perform mechanical modifications to equipment
    Multi-tasking skills as you will work on several projects in various stages of completion
    Up to 60% travel required to various customers' facilities
    Adhere to company policies and procedures and observe and follow all safety regulations
