Carpenter's Helper - Wake, United States - Hatton Homes

Description

Responsibilities:

• Perform carpentry work in accordance with blueprints, building codes, and specifications
• Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials using hand tools and power tools
• Install cabinets, countertops, trim work, and molding
• Hang doors and windows
• Install flooring and perform repairs as needed
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Carpenters Helper
• Experience in door hanging and window installation
• Knowledge of flooring installation techniques
• Experience in siding installation and repair
• Previous experience in remodeling projects is a plus

Pay based on experience_. This position requires 40 hours a week from 7:30am-4pm, M-F. This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive. Employee may perform other related duties as negotiated to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
