Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM


Location:1501 W. Commonwealth, Fullerton, CA


Primary Responsibilities:


  • Provide exceptional service to all customers
  • Complete checkin and checkout tasks to include insurance verification and copy required documents
  • Collects copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles and issues receipts
  • Answers phones and schedules specialty appointments as necessary, verifying referrals and authorizations
  • Answer telephone calls, redirect calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as needed
  • Handling a daily average of 100 incoming calls ranging from patients, healthcare facilities, pharmacies, etc.
  • Manages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)
  • Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.
  • Responsible for communicating pertinent information to patients and ensure all patients have been assisted
  • Work with backoffice staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Resolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessary
  • Assist coworkers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areas
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the public
  • Performs all other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience working in customer service or in a medical environment
  • 1+ years of experience with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:


  • 1+ years of call center experience
  • Previous experience with medical insurance
  • ICD 10 and CPT coding experience
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Working knowledge of general office procedures
