Coordination Power for the Family Support Service and Leisure Area in White Stone, VA


The Association for the Disabled is a non-profit organization that has been advocating for the rights of people with disabilities for almost 50 years.

We support children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities and their families in participating in community life. We offer leisure groups, sports activities, holiday care, holiday trips, individual assistance, and counseling.


We are currently looking for two coordination staff (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible, either part-time or full-time.

Your tasks:

  • Planning and organizing various leisure activities
  • Scheduling and organizing individual assistance
  • Counseling families on disabilityrelated topics
  • Conducting individual leisure activities
  • Leading team meetings
  • Organizing and possibly conducting training for employees
  • Administrative tasks

Your profile:
-
You have completed a degree or training in the social/healthcare field, such as social work/social pedagogy, special education, social management, childcare, nursing, or a comparable qualification

  • Ideally, you have experience working with people with disabilities
  • You value teamwork and have a structured way of working
  • You are highly reliable and flexible in your work, and you demonstrate good manners, friendliness, joy in independent work, and responsible thinking and acting
  • You have good computer skills
