Attend routine project design meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and maintain accurate and complete project files.
Coordinates regularly with the technical staff, to complete the project within the assigned project budget and on schedule.
Understands all aspects of preparing bridge design plans and construction bid packages.
Complete field inspections and reports for bridge and culvert inspections.
Effectively complete assignments related to bridge inspection, bridge load rating and analysis and all aspects of concrete/steel bridge and foundation design.
Develop detailed design plans, drawings, and specifications for bridges and related structures.Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates.
Coordinate with reviewers and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
Work collaboratively with other team members, consultants, and our clients.
Provide technical support during the construction phase, which may involve addressing design-related queries from contractors, conducting site visits, and reviewing construction progress to ensure it aligns with the design intent.
RequirementsEducation & Experience
B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
years minimum of transportation experience, structures/bridge design experience preferred
Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain it.
Experience with MicroStation, STAAD, Bridge Design Software preferred.
