Overview:
Keenan has an exciting career opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Assistant (Agency Bill) based in our Torrance, CA office.

The Accounts Receivable Assistant (Agency Bill) will be responsible for processing all Direct bill transactions in the Accounts Receivable unit of the Finance department.

Keenan, an Accretive company, is an insurance brokerage and consulting firm meeting the insurance needs of hospitals, public entities and California school districts.

Keenan specializes in providing consulting services in the areas of:
employee benefits, workers' compensation, loss control, financial, and property & liability.

What You'll Do:

Process daily bank report for prior date transactions and update detail pages as needed.
Run daily Aging report, send out updated aging report on the 15th and the end of each month.
Review Agency Bill Aging report and contact sales and/or other departments for missing payments, past due invoices.
Prepare deposit and post daily cash receipt for Agency bill.
Process Agency Bill invoices and perform related research as needed.
Correct existing Agency bill policies and/or billings as needed.
Assist with cash receipts research as needed.
Perform various monthly Agency Bill reconciliations.
Contact producers for missing information, NBR or cancellations, billing requests.
Update database with new or changed information.
Perform detail review and analysis of client's files and Sagitta records.
Perform monthly General checking and P&C Trust account cash reconciliations to detail pages.
Notify supervisor of incorrect or missing information in Sagitta database.
Request client code/payee/vendor for new client/vendor as needed.
Prepare quarterly Book of Business report for assigned departments.
Process monthly EBTPA billings.
Assist Direct Bill team as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

Minimum of 2 3years related work experience required.
College degree preferred.
Strong Analytical Skills.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
Experience with Sagitta and Saleforce preferred.

Compensation
The target salary range for this position is $50,000.00 to $60, US Dollar) annually.

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
