    Responsibilities

    Under administrative leadership, part-time faculty play a crucial role in supporting the colleges' and District's visions, missions, and values. Responsibilities include classroom management, student evaluation, curriculum development, student advising, professional growth, and specific assignment needs.

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor's degree in any subject and two years of Office Technology experience, OR
    • An associate degree in any subject and six years of Office Technology experience, OR
    • The equivalent

    Skills Needed

    We are seeking a qualified Medical Coding and Billing instructor experienced in remote teaching. The ideal candidate will guide students in various coding and abstraction tasks, including:

    • Analyzing and abstracting procedural and diagnostic information for accurate coding
    • Using CPT and ICD-9-CM codes appropriately
    • Identifying modifiers and proper codes for medical procedures
    • Utilizing medical coding software systems effectively

    Working Environment

    Faculty roles may involve extended periods of standing and walking within a classroom setting, conditions may vary depending on the subject taught.
