Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Processor to join our team.
As a Processor, you will be responsible for underwriting and processing loans, ensuring accuracy and compliance with bank policies and regulations.
Duties:
- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower's financial history and creditworthiness
- Verify income, employment, and assets of loan applicants
- Prepare loan files for underwriting review
- Collaborate with loan officers to gather additional information or resolve discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws
- Perform basic math calculations to determine debttoincome ratios and loan eligibility
- Utilize 10key typing skills to accurately input data into loan processing systems
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive borrower information
Experience:
- Previous experience in loan processing or underwriting within the financial services industry
- Familiarity with loan origination software and systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of basic math principles and ability to perform calculations accurately
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and lending practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Pay:
$ $23.54 per hour
