- Leads operational services for Cloud migrations by moving data, applications, and other business components from on-premises to AWS/EKS Cloud.
- Participates in developing tools for operational procedures and deploys code written in Java, Python, Oracle, and AWS Lambda, using Concourse, CI/CD pipeline into AWS Cloud environments.
- Defines and recommends process improvement initiatives.
- Completes technical service requests.
- Drives incident management and resolutions, identifies root causes, and coordinates fixes.
- Creates and documents disaster recovery procedures.
- Establishes contingency plans for system vulnerabilities.
- Coordinates system installations and infrastructure changes.
- Maintains system diagrams and operational procedures.
- Develops tools for operational data collection and analysis.
- Establishes project plans, monitors on-time and on-budget project goals.
- Provides application support, assists in problem identification, isolation, and escalation.
- Participates in application functionality analysis and evaluates system designs for reliability, performance, and cost of ownership.
- Develops technical solutions to support service requests.
- Expertise in developing solutions to asset, financial application issues, data anomalies across portfolio management, trading, and research functions.
- Experience in Cloud migrations, down and up scaling, monitoring Cloud services, and creating performance data dashboards.
- Automation proficiency in operational procedures, installations, and upgrades, disaster recovery strategies, and production environment monitoring.
- Troubleshooting skills in production incidents, scripting, monitoring messaging platforms, and improving application stability.

Position Description:
Develops database solutions using batch scheduling software Control-M and Autosys. Aligns IT services with the firm's needs using an ITIL framework. Monitors Cloud computing, distributed applications, and databases. Provides application and database support. Assesses the business impact of incidents through customer interaction. Performs systems analysis of batch and application issues and troubleshoots. Resolves incidents using application tools and databases like Linux, Oracle, and PL/SQL. Coordinates fixes migration with development teams into the production environment. Supports critical applications in a complex globally distributed environment. Drives incident, problem, and change management processes. Develops, documents, and revises system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or related field and 5 years of experience as a Principal Systems Engineer developing database solutions using Control-M and Autosys.
Alternatively, a Master's degree in related fields and 3 years of experience as a Principal Systems Engineer developing database solutions using Control-M and Autosys.
