Functional Summary

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain dynamic pricing models and strategies that help maximize profit while ensuring competitive pricing
Monitor actual performance, analyze customer behavior and market trends, and update pricing model inputs as needed to reflect changes in the market
Develop and maintain pricing guidelines, procedures, databases and systems, identifying additional innovative technologies to create a competitive advantage
Critical member of the crossfunctional "deal team" participating in pricing negotiations
Create Key Performance Indicators and Metrics and prepare highquality materials and supporting documentation to share with senior management in a clear and concise manner
Collaborate with other departments to ensure pricing accuracy and alignment with company goals
Identify and communicate ideas to improve and streamline processes, assess potential risks and devise appropriate risk mitigation strategies
Develop a strong understanding of SeaCube's operating businesses, including adhoc analysis over certain business lines, products, or operational metrics
Contribute to the various global improvement and transformation initiatives that will reshape the way SeaCube monetizes its services in the future

Qualifications / Skills:

Experience building pricing models, conducting market and customer research, and implementing pricing strategies
Ability to clearly articulate a situation, the relevant facts and considerations, and make wellreasoned recommendations
A professional, positive attitude, capable of contributing to a dynamic and teamoriented culture
Proactive and selfdriven, capable of working by themselves or as part of a larger team and with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment
Detailoriented with excellent analytical, problem solving, and decisionmaking skills
Strong business acumen and knowledge of pricing tools and techniques
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Able to strike the right balance between customer and company interests

Education / Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related field, master's degree a plus
5+ years of relevant work experience in pricing in a corporate environment preferred
A strong interest in transportation, logistics, shipping, infrastructure and real assets
