Hours

Pflugerville:
Monday - Friday 3:20 pm -7:30 pm, Saturday 8:50 am - 1:00 pm

Round Rock:
Monday - Thursday 3:20 pm - 7:30 pm, Friday 3:20 pm - 6:30 pm, Saturday 8:50 am - 12:00 pm

Cedar Park:
Monday - Thursday 3:50 pm -8:00 pm, Friday 3:50 pm-6:00 pm Saturday 8:50 am - 1:00 pm

Capital Gymnastics is looking for a coach who loves working with kids. No previous experience in gymnastics necessary, just patience, a desire to work with children, and a constantly positive attitude. We will teach you the rest during our paid training.

Pay will be based on availability, additional information provided below.

Coaches that commit to consistent days will receive the following:

3 days/week: $18/hr

4 days/week: $19/hr

5 days/week: $20/hr

6 days/week: $21/hr


We want our coaches to be focused on teaching, so there would be little administrative or cleaning duties unless desired.


Your Role
You will be coaching Your job will revolve around helping kids develop work ethic, listening skills, confidence, and body control


You'll be:

  • Warming students up with fun conditioning and fitness games like red light green light or floor is lava
  • Spotting children as they learn how to do new skills
  • Sharing in students' excitement as they nail a trick for the first time
  • Keeping parents up to date on their children's progress
  • Learning new techniques, skills, spotting methods, and progressions all the time
  • Having fun

Your Experience
This job requires no experience, we'll teach you everything you need to know.

There are a couple things we'd love to see though:


  • A background or a future working with kids (preferred)
  • Exposure to gymnastics, cheer, tumbling, or dance (a plus)
  • Customer service experience (a plus)

Fine Print

A few requirements to note:

  • Ability to see and hear clearly 20 yards away.
  • Ability to provide sustained attention to students during class time in the gym.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, crouch, and climb onto a spotting block to assist athletes.
  • Ability to spot a gymnast, including the strength to lift and carry at minimum 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move equipment including the strength to push or pull at minimum 50 pounds.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be able to maintain a consistent evening schedule. The kids need their coach to be in the gym
