Commercial printer in Elk Grove Village, IL is seeking 3rd Shift Pressroom Feeder
Pay - $20 - $25 Based on experience.
Qualifications
- 35 years' experience preferred but not mandatory. We are willing to train.
- Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures
- Able to work overtime as necessary.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to carry out the proper set up of a job from instructions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Review job tickets & discuss job specifications with Press Operator to ensure complete understanding.
- Verify ink and paper specifications.
- Prepare and load stock.
- Monitor all material being used on the press (ink, waters, coating etc.
- Restock & prepare materials for next shift. Relay completed accurate information to next shift on jobs scheduled and in progress.
- Perform periodic maintenance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and operate equipment about 95% of shift.
- Work in a warehouse / manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures depending on seasonality.
