Job Details:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Clinical Assistant to join our team. As a Clinical Assistant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to our medical staff.

You will be responsible for performing various administrative and clinical tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our medical practice.

Responsibilities:


  • Primarily working in Monmouth and Ocean County, running daily with a doctor between locations.
  • Rooming the patient
  • Updating patient medical records and ensuring that all information is accurate and uptodate
  • Assisting with preparing medical procedures and treatments
  • Preparing patients for exams and answering any questions they may have about their care
  • Obtaining medical authorizations and insurance information from patients
  • Performing administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and answering phones
  • Communicating with other healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care for patients
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Adhering to all HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of medical terminology, charting, and EMR/EHR systems (ModMed experience is a plus)
  • Ability to assist in performing basic medical procedures
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and staff
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Clinical Assistant certification preferred. Training will be provided

Pay:
$ $21.00 per hour
