Job Summary:


RiverTech LLC is seeking a dynamic Deputy Program Manager to support theEnterprise Logistics Services of a principal DoD agency in Alexandria VA. As the Deputy Program Manager, you'll directly support the program requirements by achieving program objectives as you interface with customers and supervise a diverse team of technical professionals. Responsibilities include supporting the program manager's daily operations relative to providing business analytics, contract, finance, security, staffing, supply chain (hardware asset management), life-cycle management and procurement.

Responsibilities:


  • Executes all facets of program management for contract (i.e., cost, schedule, reporting, engagement etc.).
  • Manages utilization of Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) for property administration, financial improvement and audit readiness goals in support of aligned customers and key stakeholders.
  • Provides domainspecific expertise and overall leadership, perspective and analytics advisement to projects, programs, and activities within supported customer HQs for logistics and supply chain related matters.
  • Supervises the property administration within the customer's domain.
  • Provides logistics, supply chain and business analytics support to the supported customer and for the program. Supports and leads marketing and business development initiatives to grow program.
  • Develops, mentors, sponsors and provides supervisory oversight of personnel.
  • Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into project's activities.
  • Oversees and assists with analyzing business and technical requirements.
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders vertically and laterally with active participation in integrated planning teams meetings to ensure as liaison with clients, participating in meetings to ensure financial audit readiness, property accountability and policy needs are met. Analyzes and documents one or more of a programs process.
  • Designs and develops processes to monitor and measure business performance.
  • Designs and documents new processes and obtains organizational feedback.
  • Communicates process flows or requirements to staff for software development efforts or as part of procedural training.
  • Creates and develops initiatives to improve performance and productivity.
  • Performs work with a high degree of latitude.
  • Handles the most complex issues.
  • May act as a lead.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in, business, science, or technology or related field. Lean and Six Sigma
  • Greenbelt / Blackbelt, or equivalent.
  • U.S. Citizen with active SECRET and ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Recent experience within last 37 years leading, supporting, and providing integrated logistics management support and have managed three or more direct reports.
  • Experience with Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS).
  • Demonstrated strong oral and written communication.
  • Ability to work in a team environment, as well as independently.
  • Adaptability to new challenges with a strong motivation to grow and learn in new areas.
  • Relevant experience producing, leading, integrating and or assisting:
  • Asset Management via the approved Accountable Property System of Record (APSR).
  • Inventory Management:
  • Review, inventory, redistribution of spares, repair parts, material distribution system management, stock level management.
  • Supply Chain defect management in accordance with DLA Supply Discrepancy Reporting (SDR). Customer Support across enterprise related to inventory, replenishment, stock levels, distribution.
  • DEMIL and Disposal Plans in accordance with DLA Disposition Service standar
