    Role Overview:

    This Senior Sales leadership position will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth across the commercial marketplace for the POLYWOOD brand. The focus market segments within commercial will be Hospitality, Multi-Family, Country Clubs, Theme Parks, Casual Dining, Office and Government. The senior leader will be a key partner in driving and executing the go-to market strategy. The ideal background is 8-10 years of demonstrated leadership and proven sales growth across the hospitality segment along with channel expansion results across other commercial markets. Given the complexity and large size of the hospitality segment, the leader must have deep experience working with the major hotel brands and purchasing groups driving year over year growth. The leader must exhibit strong relationship building across the various market segments as well as building effective relationships across the entire organization while meeting or exceeding sales targets. It will be important that this leader fits within the strong company culture established at POLYWOOD and be able to work in collaboration with the management team while building a proactive commercial segment.

    This role reports directly to the VP of Sales and Marketing.

    Responsibilities:

    The Senior Sales leadership position will lead and foster an aggressive approach to building a high growth, profitable commercial business segment. This leader must possess a hands-on approach to managing the commercial segment, helping to build out an account management team and an internal sales and project management team. This leader will be responsible for building and maintaining a culture that high performers want to be a part of. This sales leader will be responsible for living and demonstrating the values of the organization in all interactions and should be viewed as a leader people want to work with.

    • Financial Growth: Deliver profitable growth across the various commercial segments. Align and refine the digital first go-to-market strategy
      • Establish and deliver objectives for sales, profitability and distribution penetration on a consistent basis.
      • Develop and implement new sales processes as needed to be responsive to market conditions and competitive practices.
    • Organizational Leadership: Put in place the structure and talent to align and accomplish company goals.
      • Be a customer-facing leader that positions POLYWOOD for growth
      • Have fun while being the best-building and celebrating a high performance sales Culture.
      • Evaluate the organizational structure and talent levels in order to ensure the salesforce is positioned to deliver company goals.
      • Be decisive, making the tough call when needed.
      • Be a respected leader that builds relationships at all levels of the organization.
    • Strategic Leadership: Be part of building the commercial market strategy and go-to market execution.
      • Bring a solution minded approach and proven ability to manage through challenges and achieve results.
      • HDPE and brand advocate that fosters an aggressive "Own the Property" sales approach *Build brand awareness through spending time in market, industry engagement and events and attending key trade shows.
    Requirements:
    • 8-10 years of demonstrated leadership and proven sales growth
    • Proven track record of strong profitable growth with sound decision making.
    • A strong understanding of the "quote to cash" process and experience in utilization of a CRM to manage pipeline build in leading a sales organization.
    • Proven ability to build a proactive sales culture where teams strive to exceed objectives. Sets the bar high and is relentless in pursuit of talent.
    • A proven track record of being a High Performance Sales Leader, focused on the bottom line impact of strategies and initiatives and providing a clear set of measurement criteria to ensure desired performance goals are realized. Uses sound business judgment, manages data effectively, strong analytical skills and is capable of making timely decisions.
    • Coach, Mentor, Team builder. A team player who focuses on the success of others and the team versus individual accomplishments. Inspiring others to perform and setting high standards of performance.
    • Ability and willingness to roll up the sleeves and do the work personally.
