Job Summary:

Duties:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required
Minimum Experience/Knowledge: 5 years of accounting (specifically fund accounting) AND financial analysis experience in a hospital or similar environment (Information Technology knowledge a plus)
Experience as a midlevel financial/budget analyst
Experience developing new financial reports and tracking and reporting on KPI's
Financial Analysis (be able to analyze and explain financial data)
Budget/Variance Analysis (be able to research and explain budget variances)
Excel (vlook ups, pivot tables, sumifs); experience creating and working with large linked excel files
Understanding of GAAP, the General Ledger, and the Chart of Accounts with a deep understanding of amortization and prepaids accounting entries
Experience creating, building and maintaining financial models
Experience working with a major financial ERP (i.e. Infor Lawson)
Experience working with Finance, Accounts Payable, Purchasing and external vendors and working with them to shepherd invoices and PO's through to final payment/execution. Be comfortable being responsible for seeing these items (and other financial processes) through to completion.
Must be extremely detail oriented
Must be able to multitask and meet multiple competing deadlines
Must be a reasonably quick learner.

Must be able to work independently under general direction.
