The city of Redlands, CA is currently seeking a seasonal employee for municipal green maintenance at the construction yard, starting as soon as possible.


We offer:

  • A fulltime, permanent position (39 hours per week) as a seasonal employee from April 1st to November 30th of each year
  • Compensation according to pay group 3 of the collective agreement for public service (TVöD)
  • 20 days of annual leave
  • An annual bonus payment
  • Additional company pension for collective agreement employees (VBL) and performancebased pay (LOB)

Your qualifications:

  • Practical experience in green area maintenance
  • Possession of a valid driver's license class B or BE, C
  • Skill in handling and using motorized small equipment

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintenance work on roads
  • Care and maintenance of parks and green areas
  • Planting of various plants
  • Maintenance of roadside greenery
  • Pruning of trees and hedges using motorized hedge trimmers
  • Leaf disposal
  • Clearing and cleaning work
  • Assistance with events
  • Support with other tasks as needed
