- Accurately cut to trim and yield specifications as provided by cut tickets
- Communicate any discrepancies between cutting tickets and customer purchases to the supervisor
- Pull raw materials and pre-cut inventory based on code dates
- Ensure proper labeling of products and equipment to meet legal and safety regulations
- Record all necessary data for assigned cutting yield tests
- Maintain product inventory levels and quality standards
- Adhere to U.S.D.A. guidelines in work areas
- Assemble and disassemble equipment as needed
- Clean, store, and maintain assigned tools and equipment
- Manage product yields and deadlines effectively
- Follow company's safety and health goals
- Report any unsafe conditions or acts to management
- Prior experience in portion cutting meat required
- Ability to perform mathematical calculations and conversions
- Proficiency in English language
- Adaptability to changes in customer demands
