Summary
Teacher needed for a class of transitional ages 4/5 who are unable to go to kindergarten because of the new State of Ct start date age requirement.
Duties
Prepare and implement lesson plans that reflect a curriculum of kindergarten readiness, Focusing on Social, emotional and academic needs of each individual child.
- Be responsible for individual student file through our entire year. This includes but not limited to evaluations, communications between parents and sample of academic and social progress, classroom Attendance, sign/sign out sheets, accident/ illness/ Incident reports, be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean caring environment where children can flourish. Must be able to communicate well with parents daily, weekly and attend conferences as needed. Must be a team player flexible and reliable.
Requirements:
Must have at least 2 years of preschool experience with children 3/4-year-olds. CDA, associate degree or equivalent in early childhood education.
Nice To Haves
CPR, pediatric first aid certificates.
Care 4 Kids Health and Safety course through the Ct Office of Early Childhood
