About the Role

The Program Manager will work with our collaborator, Becton Dickinson (BD), to develop and maintain a positive and constructive relationship.

The Program Manager will be responsible for driving win-win results for BD and Techcyte across our collaboration projects with BD.

Additionally, the Program Manager will work with the Techcyte Product and Engineering organizations to coordinate, organize, and execute complex projects for our research, development, and product implementation efforts.

Ideally this person is within close proximity to Sparks, MD or Franklin Lakes, NJ._

Duties/Responsibilities:

Acts as a liaison between Techcyte and BD, developing and maintaining strong and constructive relationships at multiple levels in both organizations
Has responsibility to contribute to and drive effective communication and collaboration between our two organizations across multiple projects
Understand BD's vision and needs and be a strong internal advocate for BD
Works with Product and Engineering teams to understand the tasks involved in each project and address any roadblocks/risks with proper mitigation
Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints for each BD project
Communicates and collaborates with multiple departments within Techcyte to stay up to date on projects and their important metrics and milestones and to be able to provide information and updates to senior leadership
Proactively addresses issues and teaches others to do the same
Other duties as assigned

Required Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, including an ability to collaborate across departments and organizations
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly learn about the project or product being developed
Ability to identify critical path efforts and act across teams with a sense of urgency to resolve roadblocks/obstacles
Ability to drive vision/roadmap alignment across organizations

Education and Experience:

Bachelors degree in related field, which may include Computer Science, Business, or Engineering, required
At least 3 years of related experience required
Experience in healthcare/diagnostics required
PMP, PgMP, CAPM, and/or comparable project management certifications highly desirable

- _Experience working with BD preferred_
- _Experience in Women's Health preferred_

About the Company

Work from Home

While we do have offices available for use, our workforce spends the majority of their time working from the comfort of their home.

Every team member has a daily standup meeting to touch base with their team and a monthly all-hands meeting for the whole company to get updates.

Additional meetings are created as needed, and the majority are impromptu.

Hard Problems

We need to analyze the equivalent movie's worth of images in the cloud in only a few minutes while staying reliable and accurate.

Major problems include transferring, processing, and storing terabytes of data, creating queuing systems that balance turnaround times with costs, and building a pipeline around machine learning models that meet the accuracy requirements of human healthcare.
