We are seeking an energetic and experienced Preschool Teacher to join our team You will be leading a class of students through the school year, assessing their current academic level, and designing instruction to meet students' collective and individual needs.

We need a male or female who is passionate about learning and helping students reach their potential.

With strong creative and problem-solving skills, and a love for connecting with individual students and creating an engaging classroom environment.

Responsibilities:

• Create and follow a comprehensive curriculum
• Teach Toddlers (ages 24 years old)
• Assist children with developing social and emotional skills
• Use a range of instructional methods and learning techniques
  (Knowledge of creating ageappropriate Lesson Plans):
• Communicate with parents and other school personnel
• Assess student's skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental miles

Interview Requirements

1-2 years of professional experience as a Lead Teacher in a Licensed Child Care Facility

Completion of twenty-four (24) units of Early Childhood Education (ECE) /Child Development courses (core

classes)


Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to the guidelines
• Problemsolving and mediation skills

Availability Needed and Hours of Work
Monday-Friday from 8am-4pm

5 days a week

30-40 hours of work per week


Education:

• AA (preferred) Early Education/Child Development
• Child CareTeaching Permit
• 24 units or more in Early Education and Child Development
• 12 years as a Lead Teacher in a Licensed Child Care Facility

License/Certification:

• Driver's License /or Identification Card (required)
• Preemployment Tuberculosis and Live Scan screenings required
• Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications. Ability to perform CPR and first aid
