The Service Company of the Nordhausen District is a 100% subsidiary of the Nordhausen District.

More than 180 employees work in the fields of road management, swimming pool management, technical property management, building cleaning, real estate management, project management, and refugee coordination.

The service offerings of the Service Company are primarily aimed at municipal institutions and locally based companies.

We are looking for you as a Vehicle Caretaker (m/f/d) to join our team in San Felipe, TX.

Your responsibilities:

Technical maintenance of various utility and passenger vehicles and equipment (e.g. Unimog, Manitou, Liebherr excavators, aerial work platforms, lawn tractors)
Independent safety inspections including repair work
Regular checks of the entire fleet for operational safety and overall appearance
Vehicle handovers and returns
Coordination and monitoring of all legal vehicle inspection dates and regular maintenance
Coordination/coordination of all unplanned vehicle appointments with workshops and deployment planning
Documentation of vehicle damage
Assistance in road maintenance service

Your profile:

Completed vocational training as a car mechanic / agricultural machinery mechanic or similar
Professional experience in vehicle maintenance and repair or comparable activities is an advantage
Driver's license class B, ideally also CE
Good computer skills
Strong communication skills, team spirit, and flexibility
Strong organizational skills and structured work approach
Confident appearance, negotiation and communication skills
Ability to act pragmatically
