The diverse range of habitats and the close proximity to the metropolis of Frankfurt and the Rhine-Main region make the Main-Kinzig district an attractive location for business, living, and quality of life.

The Office for Social Promotion and Participation is responsible for the municipal tasks according to the Social Code Books Twelfth Book (SGB XII) Social Assistance and Ninth Book (SGB IX) Rehabilitation and Participation of People with Disabilities for the Main-Kinzig district.
