Saint Alphonsus is a physician-led, 500+ provider multispecialty group with an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to lead a growing group in Boise, ID.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to assess and treat a diverse adult and geriatric outpatient population with a wide variety of mental health disorders, the ability to work well with a collegial multidisciplinary team and the desire to make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
Support:
Practice includes 1 Physician, 1 APP and 2 clinical psychologists, and a LCSW and recruitment of additional providers underway.
This spacious, recently renovated clinic setting on the Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center campus is part of a multi-specialty network of 70+ Saint Alphonsus Medical Group Primary Care and Specialty Clinics.
RequirementsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree
Successful completion of an accredited ACGME/AOA psychiatry residency program
Board certification through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) or the American Osteopathic Board of Neurology and Psychiatry (AOBNP) -
or obtain such certification within 3 years of employment
Obtain Idaho medical licensure and Medical Staff privileges at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center
Valid controlled substance registration with Board of Pharmacy and DEA
