Solidworks drafter/Sheet Metal Mechanic


Duties:

- design models and drawings for shop use in Solidworks
- assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products per customer drawings.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
• Measure, cut, shape, and form sheet metal
• Install and secure sheet metal components using welding, bolting, or riveting techniques
• Inspect finished products for quality and ensure they meet specifications
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Mechanic or similar role
• Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and equipment operation
• Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks

$ $33.00 per hour
