• During the hours of ADHC to assist participants with activities of daily living such as grooming, personal hygiene, feeding, and walking, toileting, and personal hygiene that ensures the participant is clean, dry, and comfortable. This assistance is carried out under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Observe participants for any physical or mental changes and changes in behavior. Report any observed changes to the nurse.
• Provide support to group and recreational activities.
• Assist in preparation, serving, and clean-up of all nutritional services including breakfast, snacks, and lunches.
• Will maintain daily charting of services provided.
• Assist with arranging appointments for participants outside the Center.
• May provide participant transportation to and from the Center and perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director.
• Understand the elements of a therapeutic environment and work with the staff to encourage maximum functioning and benefit to the participants.
• Maintain positive working relationship with all staff members, volunteers, families, and participants.
• Attend all in-service training programs and staff meetings.
• Comply with health and safety standards including licensing, fire and disaster preparedness regulations and agency policies.

Conform to all applicable policies of the Center and attend the orientation program offered by the Center.

• Any work duties assigned by program director or registered nurse.

Working schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am 1:30 pm or 2:00 pm working hours.


Preferred bilingual in English and Spanish.
