- Execute experiments on clinical patient samples and analyze / interpret results in a timely manner.
- Participate in cross-functional team meetings and report results to stakeholders.
- Maintain detailed experimental records in lab notebooks, as well as, detailed and organized clinical sample tracking.
- Participate in new assay development for methods to be used in future clinical pipelines.
- Participate in authorship of protocols, reports and SOPs to document clinical studies and ensure method standardization.
- Maintain and track critical reagents to be used in clinical methods as well as titration of critical antibodies.
- BS or MS in cell biology, immunology, biochemistry, or related discipline with at least 1 year of experience in cell biology, immunology, or cell therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross functional stakeholders in the execution of experimental studies and reporting of data.
- Ability to follow laboratory procedures with attention to detail and successfully execute studies on time.
- Prior experience with aseptic cell culture and cell-based assays.
- Prior experience with T-cell culture preferred.
- Prior experience in flow cytometry preferred.
- Prior experience with ELISA, NGS, and/or scRNA sequencing preferred.
- Prior experience with statistical analysis of data, design of experiments and use of OMIQs software preferred.
- Prior experience working across multiple projects in a fast paced, hands-on environment.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Our leading biotech client, specializing in cell therapy, is seeking a driven and experiencedSenior Research Associate.In this role, you will be a key contributor in the Translational Medicine group. Primary responsibilities include execution of analytical testing of patient samples and support for ongoing data analysis and interpretation. The candidate will also support new assay development as well as patient sample tracking and storage. The role requires experience in aseptic cell culture, with preference for experience with culture of T-cells. Experience with flow cytometry, ELISA, and/or NGS preferred. The Senior Research Associate will collaborate with the Data Sciences and Bioinformatics Teams within Translational Medicine to accurately build data packages for individual patients as well the overall clinical study. The position reports to the Principal Scientist, Translational Medicine, and will be located in San Diego, CA.
