The inventory control specialist will be responsible for tracking inventory and stock changes within a distribution setting.

The primary duties of this role include ensuring part quantity is accurate as well as making sure that raw goods are in the right location per the inventory system.

In addition, this role will inspecting shipments, maintain records and adjust discrepancies.

This position works inside the warehouse to track items, parts and products and will work with management to make recommendations for improvement as necessary.


Minimal Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 6 months experience in a manufacturing or comparable work environment where duties included inventory control
Learn to operate and become proficient in driving power equipment Look up products in the warehouse and identify missing inventory Help to research where missing inventory could be located and work to correct errors in the system


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP system

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls.

The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.

Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Occasional travel.
