Fast-paced surgery center located in central Phoenix is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team

Job Summary:


Responsibilities:


  • Manage workflow, ensuring that deadlines are met and work is completed correctly
  • Implement and monitor programs as directed by management, and see the programs through to completion
  • Check in & out patients, appointment confirmations, insurance eligibility, scan charts, insurance cards
  • Communicate with billing staff for necessary information to adequately bill out charges
  • Verify authorizations
  • Collect copays, deductibles, etc
  • Respond to questions and requests for information
  • Answer incoming calls and assume other receptionist duties when needed

Qualifications:

1+ year(s) of administrative experience (required)
Strong written and verbal communication
High level of attention to detail
Obsessively punctual & ethical
Can-do "figure it out" mentality
Ability to prioritize time and maintain organization of personal schedule
Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
Exceptional communication skills
Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner


Essential requirements:


  • Highly proficient in multitasking, time management, attention to detail and professionalism is a must
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and adhere to all patient privacy laws and regulations is a must
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office 365 including Excel Required
  • Bachelor's Degree required

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
