prestigious brand new renovation, is looking to hire a Stewarding Manager The new W Hotel will be synonymous with elegance, sophistication, and exceptional whatever, whenever hospitality.

What You'll Do:

Responsible for the deep cleaning and sanitizing of kitchens and ensuring all checklists and tasks are completed to the highest standard
Ensure the breakage is kept to a minimum
Efficiently coordinating service by organizing supplies in the appropriate location
Ensuring and maintaining cleanliness and safety standards by ensuring furniture and floors are clean and arranged according to restaurant specifications
Orders and manages necessary supplies. Ensuring workers have supplies, equipment, tools, and uniforms necessary to do their jobs.
Monitors the inflow of ordered materials and the maintenance of current materials.
Controls inventories of food, equipment, smallware, and liquor, and report shortages to designated personnel.
Investigates reports and followsup on employee accidents.
Enforces proper cleaning routines for service ware, equipment, floors, etc.
Supervises assigned team and ensures work is performed correctly and efficiently
Embody mission, vision, and values of the hotel/resort daily
Fully understand chemicals and other hazardous supplies
Assist and help banquet kitchen to plate up
Execute all tasks of each steward position in the department
Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department

Requirements:

High school diploma
Prior experience using Microsoft Office and general computer operations required
4+ years' experience working in a hotel stewarding environment
2+ years' experience managing a team
4+ years' experience with dish washing machinery and equipment
An understanding of chemical and paper product ordering
Bilingual
High level of reliability
Flexible schedule required

Pay:
$75, $80,000.00 per year
