Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst

Aon has a tremendous opportunity to partner with our clients within our Risk Mangement Outsourcing team.

The Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst will work closely with the Workers' Compensation Managers of our client Hyatt, to manage the company's national Workers' Compensation program to mitigate exposure by limiting severity.

The Analyst will manage the Med-Only Resolution Managers at the Third-Party Administrator (TPA), and the liaison between hotels and adjusters from inception to closure to ensure the investigation of all claims are completed.

The Workers' Compensation Claims Analyst will monitor all Med-Only claims to ensure claims are closing in a timely manner to ensure the Med-only claims are within the reserve threshold.

The Analyst will follow-up with Med-only Resolution Manager for release and MMI. (maximum medical improvement)
The Analyst will work with the Managers to create reports to review analytics for future claims handling.

The Analyst will utilize Risk Management Information Systems (RMIS) and TPA systems to support other areas in Risk Management such as follow-up on colleague incidents and supporting company-wide, administrative loss prevention duties and department specific initiatives.

The Analystl will manage assigned projects in support of the overall Risk Management objectives. Responsibilities

Manage all aspects of the Med-Only Workers' Compensation claim processes assigned to the Insurance Carrier/TPA across multiple jurisdictions including, but not limited to, claim reporting, medical management, reserving, communications, return to work, and closures.

The Analyst will also work closely with the Managers to disseminate PC365 training and follow-up with the hotels, preferred provider updates and Risk Portal updates.

The Analyst will work closely with other Risk Management teams to ensure proper routing of Service Now Tickets.
The Analyst will serve as the primary claim's management contact for Med-Only Resolution Managers. The Analyst will review claims and determine if a claim needs to be converted to indemnity for further investigation.

The Analyst will create reports to review data and analytics with Claim Managers for collaboration with Health and Safety team.

Familiarity with various TPA RMIS and internal RMIS to provide claim information as needed.
Support Risk Management Department and Workers' Compensation Claims Managers with various projects, tasks, and special assignments.
Assist with oversight of hotels compliance with Work Comp laws, rules and procedures.
Assist with notification of all including the Absence Management team, and transitional or modified duty at the hotel.

2+ years' experience in managing Med-Only claims or Assistant of claims' team.
Require mínimal knowledge in Loss control methodology and reduction of incidents.
Attention to detail to distinguish safety hazards.
Understanding of data analytics and risk assessments.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks. Education
Associate degree Technical Skills
Experience or training utilizing Risk Management Information Systems and working with system vendors preferred.
