The Role


The Lead, Human Resources Data & Analytics is a customer-facing role, where you'll deliver people analytics across HR and CAA's Department Heads.

Responsibilities include participating in client processes like workforce planning and performance management, delivering data insights using our platform and other HR tools.

This person is responsible for the management and manipulation of structured data, with a focus on building business intelligence tools, conducting analysis to distinguish patterns and recognize trends, performing normalization operations, and assuring data quality.

Extremely detail-oriented, tech-savvy, strategic thinker with a natural curiosity to explore, understand, and command our fragmented HR data ecosystems.

Responsibilities include creating specifications to bring data into a common structure, creating product specifications and models, developing data solutions to support analyses, performing analysis, interpreting results, developing actionable insights, and presenting recommendations for use across the agency.


You'll coach clients in their analytics journey, establish governance practices, manage insights priorities, and serve as their primary contact for people analytics needs.


Responsibilities:


  • Collaborate with clients to address their HR data needs using Workday and other HR tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) for data extraction, analytics, and reporting
  • Responsible for ensuring data integrity in Workday
  • Build and deploy monthly and quarterly Department Head business reviews with people insights.
  • Manage backlog and prioritization of the customer's HR analytics needs
  • Build and manage diversity and inclusion reporting
  • Present workforce insights to influence decisionmaking.
  • Ensure data quality in key metrics across Talent Acquisition, Management, and Compensation.
  • Train and support HR business partners in people analytics.
  • Maintain data confidentiality and foster a metricsdriven culture.
  • Develop a deep understanding of data structures and their business relevance.
  • Engage with growthstage companies to address their specific needs.

Qualifications:


  • 10+ years of experience in HR analytics with a strong statistical analysis and data interpretation background
  • Prior experience building and leading HR analytics programs
  • Experience conducting disparate impact analysis
  • Deep knowledge of HR policies and practices and experience working with both large matrixed and small or startup organizations
  • Excellent communication, presentation, problemsolving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with Workday HRIS and data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Data science is a big plus
Location

  • This hybrid role is based in our Los Angeles office and requires 3 days onsite each week.

Compensation:
The annual base salary for this position is in the range of $140,000 - $170,000. This position also is eligible for benefits and discretionary bonus.

Ultimately, the salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, business sector, and geographic location, among other criteria.
