The Whitestone Group Inc. is an industry leading security company providing services to the U.S. Government with an international presence. The company is currently seeking to hire a Program Manager for a federal contract.


The Project Manager is the Chief Administrator responsible for the overall supervision, management and evaluation of all personnel assigned to this contract.

Full authority to act on behalf of his/her company at the locations specified under this contract, he/she will accomplish this by planning, directing and organizing any and all facets of their contractual responsibilities.

  • Minimum Industry Experience Requirement: _
  • Minimum of five (5) years of specialized project management experience (includes project development and implementation from inspection to deployment; expertise in the management and control of funds and resources using complex reporting mechanisms; and demonstrated capability in managing multitask Contracts or subcontracts of various types and complexity
  • Minimum of five (5) years proficiency in the use and safe handling of a 9mm semiautomatic handgun or other issued firearms while performing in a security and/or law enforcement position
  • Minimum of three (3) years of successful supervision in a related field such as civilian community law enforcement, military service law enforcement, or commercial/industrial security guard service
  • Minimum Education Requirement:_
  • Must have either completed a four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree with a major in criminal justice or security management, or have 2 years of credible experience for every year of education in the law enforcement, security management, or military force protection that demonstrates the individual's capacity to effectively manage an Armed SPO security contract of this size and scope [approximately 62,000 annual productive hours] or a combination of college and experience. (i.e. an associate degree with four years of experience)
  • Other Requirements:_
  • Demonstrate competent utilization of MS Office to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Possess a high school education or equivalency
  • Three years of experience in physical security, law enforcement or military experience demonstrating the proficiencies listed below OR may substitute two years of relevant education, above the high school level, for each year of experience, OR may combine relevant education and relevant experience totaling three years
  • Ability to meet and deal with the general public
  • Ability to maintain poise and selfcontrol under stress
  • Ability to construct and write clear and concise, accurate and detailed reports with mínimal supervision

Functional Responsibility:
_

  • Authority to act on behalf of the Contractor throughout the term of the contract
  • Available at client site between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday except federal holidays or when the government facility is closed for administrative reasons
  • Available to government immediately during working hours by phone or in person, and available after hours, weekends, and holidays within two hours
  • Contractor's senior representative but will not act as the Shift Supervisor to the SPOs on post
  • Has authority to accept notices of deductions, inspection reports, remove SPO's from post, and all correspondence on behalf of the contractor
  • Overall responsibility for implementing, monitoring, and upgrading the contractor's quality control plan
  • Responsible for ensuring that the Contractor's work force complies with the contract requirements to include tracking all training and certifications of the SPO's
  • As a critical component of the contract, must completely understand the operational requirements of this contract, including functions of both the productive and supervisory staff, location(s) of service, method of operation and equipment required at each post and contents of general and specific post orders
  • Conducts regularly scheduled meetings with SPO supervisory staff to continually evaluate security officer's performance and review operational procedures
