Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Technician to join our medical team.
As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations and providing accurate diagnostic images to assist in patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Check in and check out patients
- Perform ultrasound procedures according to established protocols and procedures.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure proper image quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to interpret results and provide accurate diagnoses.
- Maintain patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain efficient patient flow by reviewing schedule ahead of time and preparing paperwork prior.
Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
- 2 years of previous experience working as an Ultra-Sound Tech preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and ultrasound physics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
