**Summary**
Raven Engineered Films is seeking a Planning & Inventory Control Intern for Sumer 2022. During the scope of the internship, you will be exposed to large scale manufacturing operations, more specifically in regard to planning data, analysis, and inventory stock levels. This internship will provide opportunities to collaborate with a variety of teams across the company including sales, engineering, and supply chain.
**Essential Functions**
Complete projects as assigned within internship including but not limited to:
+ Refine planning data to drive efficient manufacturing schedules through 5 facilities
+ Review and provide analysis for modifying stocking levels and lead times to support 5 unique markets.
+ Update inventory classifications to capture quick categorizations that drive action.
+ Develop content used to train planning and inventory control team members.
+ Provide statistical analysis for work center utilization to merge into a capacity plan.
Collaborate across all departments on company initiatives (sales, manufacturing, engineering, supply chain)
Attend Raven sponsored training and educational seminars.
Engage and participate in Raven sponsored events.
Work closely with assigned mentor and manager to reach a successful completion of internship.
Provide periodic updates to managers and peers on assigned project(s).
Complete summer end internship presentation.
**Qualifications**
College student or recent graduate in specified course of study necessary to be successful in defined internship position.
Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, without close supervision.
Problem-solving abilities. Ability to identify waste and creatively look for solutions.
Ability to work with high level of confidentiality.
Capacity to be flexible and multitask.
Proficient with a computer, including Microsoft Office.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
