Our multi-disciplinary team approach includes surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, women's centers, diagnostic imaging services, social service support, nutritionist, integrative services, and genetic counseling.

Overview:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced CT Technologist to deliver compassionate care to our Oncology patients by assisting with clinical tasks, performing support services for clinical staff and providing direct interaction with patients and their caregivers in our fast-paced out-patient oncology clinic.

This position will be based out of our new Goodyear location


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Follows protocols in place for imaging studies.
  • Ensures all exams are obtained according to ALARA.
  • Completes simulation set ups for radiation therapy patients.
  • Operates CT Scanners, Contrast Injectors; responsible for starting all IVs.
  • Assists coworkers in any area to provide quality patient care.
  • Prints schedules for following day.
  • Provides support coverage for PET area, as needed.
  • Must be able to type and work on a computer.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
  • Performs other duties as requested by supervisor, administrator, or physicians.

Knowledge and Skills:


  • Knowledge of medical office operations.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Internet.
  • Ability to operate a computer and office equipment.

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • ARRT Certified.
  • Arizona State License.
